Hi to all our loyal clients and treasured cargo!

As we approach the end of yet another wonderful year of providing you with our SCHOOL LINK SHUTTLE SERVICE, let me first say a huge   THANK YOU!!!  for your valued  support.

2013 will be our 10th year of operating.

We have grown steadily from one bus and two staff members, to over 24 buses together with our franchisees, now employing over 60 people.

We intend to continue to expand the SCHOOL LINK SHUTTLE SERVICE footprint in all regions.

Your choice of a SCHOOL SHUTTLE service provider should not be just about cost. Our backup and contingency plans are what we believe have kept us ahead of all our competition.

WHAT WE OFFER THAT NO OTHER COMPETITOR CAN OR DOES:
2 extra buses on stand-by, available to all franchisees -which means that our passengers will not be left stranded for hours.

An extra back-up driver is always available in the event that a driver is ill.

We provide an ad hoc “desperate morning pick” up for parents, in the case of overseas travel, illness or early meetings.

We provide a full shuttle service to that company function, bachelorette or live concert – we put FUN back into PARTY.

We operate throughout all school holidays, except between the 16th December -  4th January, when buses, drivers, assistants and managers are given a forced rest. If a shuttle service is not suitable to meet your needs, we assist you in trying to find an Aupair.

QUALITY & SERVICE CONTROL:

There are so many people out there who are starting bus services  – please ensure that they will be around for more than 6 months.

We know that we provide one of the best and most reliable services in the area.

Our drivers attend Driver Skills training twice a year – with a reputable driving clinic.

Our buses undergo a complete safety and full mechanical service every three months.

END OF TERM AND FIRST WEEK OF TERM:

We ask that clients realise that we are not able to collect all children from all the different schools at the same time.

We do try our best to structure our drop offs and pick ups in such a manner that we can reach all children waiting to be collected at school, as soon as possible.

For children who attend aftercare at Crawford  – they must travel on their usual bus, even if there are no extra-murals.

Children cannot decide on their own whim to change the time that they go home.

FEE PAYMENTS FOR DECEMBER 2012.

PLEASE NOTE that due to the horrendous petrol price increases this year, we will insist on full payment over December.

Termination for payment of fees is December and NOT November, which is clearly stated in the contract you signed at the start of our service agreement.

We give all our staff an annual bonus in the middle of December, as we believe they deserve it.

FEES FOR 2013 will remain the same i.e. R890 for a one way fee and R1700 for a 2 way fee.

If you are currently paying less, please note that we will be increasing the fees to compensate the increases we have and will experience. (sibling discounts will still apply)

We do try to keep our service as affordable as possible, while at the same time ensuring that we can sustain the quality of service we offer.

We have seen many competitors come and go. And we know from our years of experience, that competitors can only try and beat us on price. If you want to change service provider because you have found a cheaper service, please discuss this with me. You can email me on val@school-link.co.za.

Once again, thank you for your support.

Have a great summer holiday and be safe!

Kind Regards

VAL and all SCHOOL LINK STAFF.
